Apple has released iOS 11.1.2 that addresses a few issues with the iPhone X. The new updates fixes an issue where screens on the iPhone X devices would become unresponsive due to cold weather. Affected users reported that their iPhone X displays kept freezing up when taking the phone into cold environments. The phone would go back to operating normally after a few seconds.
This is a quick turnaround fix for Apple after the issue first became public knowledge. The company knew and understood that this issue needed to be fixed sooner rather than later.
