Apple may introduce a more expensive iPhone ‘Ultra in 2024

Apple could release this high-end device along with the iPhone Pro Max and Pro Max.

According to Apple insider Mark Gurman, Apple is exploring the possibility that a more expensive iPhone Ultra could be launched. This would go beyond the iPhone Pro and Pro Max models. This high-end device could be available as soon as 2024, along with the iPhone 16 line.

Apple CEO Tim Cook did not rule out the possibility that iPhones will be priced higher in the future during Apple’s earnings conference. Instead, he suggested that customers may be willing to pay more for a better product. Cook stated that the iPhone is so important in people’s lives. “I believe people will stretch themselves to get the best they can afford in this category.”

Gurman speculates that the Ultra device could have additional camera features, a faster chip, and possibly a larger display.

Gurman noted that Apple is already giving consumers a reason “to pay up” by adding the best features and options to its Pro Max and Pro Max models. Apple made Dynamic Island an exclusive feature of the iPhone 14 Pro Max and Pro Max last year. Gurman claims that Apple will make the tiers more distinct with the launch of the iPhone 15.

Rumors have already suggested that the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will come with USB-C. They may also use haptic volume or power buttons in place of traditional physical ones. The iPhone 15 Pro Max may be the only model with a better optical zoom. This will further increase the gap between the models.
