A football fan who wants YouTube TV used to pay one price for everything. Now YouTube TV plans come in several sizes, and the cheapest one costs less than $55 a month, if the reports hold up. Here is what each plan costs, and what NFL Sunday Ticket adds on top.

YouTube TV Plans and Pricing in 2026

How much is the YouTube TV base plan?

It costs $82.99 a month, effective December 12, 2024. For that, Google lists more than 100 channels, unlimited DVR, up to six accounts, and three streams at the same time. As of October 2026 no newer increase shows on that page. Prices change, though, so check the number when you sign up.

What are the cheaper YouTube TV plans?

Google began rolling out genre plans the week of February 9, 2026, 9to5Google reported. The Sports Plan is the one Google prices itself: $64.99 a month for 34 channels, with three streams and unlimited DVR. The same news report lists three more. Entertainment is $54.99. News, Entertainment and Family is $69.99. Sports and News is $71.99. Those three prices come from news coverage rather than a Google page, so confirm them before you subscribe.

How much is NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube TV?

New subscribers pay from $240 a year for the 2026-27 season, according to a September 10 report. Existing customers pay more: $378 through YouTube TV, or $480 through Primetime Channels.

Does YouTube TV offer a free trial?

Yes. Google’s trial page says new subscribers get a free trial and are not charged until it ends. The page gives no length. It also warns that some add-ons, including 4K Plus, cannot be bought in the Android app.

Editor’s Take

YouTube TV plans are no longer one price. A sports fan paying $82.99 for 100 channels may need only the $64.99 Sports Plan. Compare channel lists, not just totals. Before you stream more this season, our guide to turning off smart TV tracking covers the settings on most brands.
