Preorders for Microsoft’s Surface Pro with LTE have begun

If you’re interested in the Surface Pro with LTE, you may now preorder the device. Microsoft opened up sales to consumers today after bringing the tablet to business customers in December.

There are two models available, both coming with Intel’s Core i5 7300U processor (fanless design). One model will come with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage priced at $1,149, and the second model will come with 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage priced at $1,449.

You may submit your preorder at Microsoft’s online store, but it appears that only the 8GB of RAM model is currently available. Devices are expected to ship by May 1st and will be available to see at Best Buy retail stores, should you have one near you. The only downside is that neither model ships with the necessary Type Cover ($129) or the optional Surface Pen ($99), so you’ll have to purchase those separately and will add additional cost to your purchase.
