With all the excitement around the iPhone X, lets not forget about Apple’s brief introduction into the AirPods. Apple’s wireless headphones also received a new version. The company stated that an improved set of earbuds come with a case that supports wireless charging.
The wireless charging is done via the industry-standard Qi wireless charger. Apple, of course, is prepping its own wireless charging pad, which is set to be released in 2018. This charging pad will support charging for multiple devices at the same time.
With their new AirPower, you will be able to set your iPhone X, Apple Watch, and even the AirPods and have them charge simultaneously. The company unfortunately didn’t mention anything about the new AirPods coming with Apple W2 wireless chip, but it’s definitely possible.
