Huawei’s P20 Pro will feature a 40-megapixel main sensor in triple-camera

Details about Huawei’s upcoming P20 flagships phones just continue to leak because we have some new information to share with you. While the latest information is rumored to be a three-camera system for the top-of-the-line P20 Pro, and now we know — via WinFuture — what exactly is expected to come in the three-camera system.

In the three-camera system, you can expect: an 8-megapixel telephoto, a 20-megapixel black-and-white lens, and a main RGB lens that comes in huge at 40 megapixels. Yes, you read that right and it’s not a typo.

If you’ve been keeping up, that’s one of the highest megapixel counts ever on a mobile phone. It’s only topped by the 41-megapixel Nokia PureView camera from the Lumia 1020 and Nokia 808.

Huawei is expected to announce the phones on March 27th, so we will have all the details next Tuesday.
