According to a new report from iCulture (via The Next Web), it appears that Apple’s new-designed iPhone 8 may in-fact be called iPhone X. Apparently, a “reliable source” has confirmed to iCulture that Apple’s 10th anniversary iPhone will be called iPhone X.
iCulture noted that the same source previously revealed the existence of the 10.5-inc iPad back in May, which Apple later revealed at WWDC 2017. So it’s safe to say that there is some ‘reliability” here, but of course nothing is one hundred percent until Apple takes the wraps off on September 12.
In addition to the iPhone X name prediction, the source states that there will be cheaper iPhone models. The other two iPhones will apparently be called iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, according to iCulture‘s source.
Lastly, the source also claims that preorders will start on September 15th, and will begin shipping on September 22nd, which of course follows Apple’s previous release schedules.
