Starting November 17th, Sprint is giving subscribers free Hulu with its unlimited plan

While T-Mobile subscribers are enjoying Netflix with their service, Sprint has announced that it’s partnering with Hulu to offer free access to Hulu’s Limited Commercials plan. If you’re a customer on Sprint’s Unlimited Freedom plan, you can start enjoying the free Hulu service on November 17th.

Sprint is partnering with Hulu to directly compete with T-Mobile and Netflix partnership. T-Mobile now bundles Netflix for free with its unlimited plans. AT&T is offering free HBO included with its unlimited service. Verizon isn’t offering a great benefit right now, but does offer free Go90… let that sink in.

Spring subscribers will get access to Hulu’s $7.99 per month plan, which is its most basic service. This package includes access to Hulu’s fairly extensive streaming library of TV shows. There is something to keep in mind, however. The fine print says that you’re limited to “one Hulu Limited Commercials plan per eligible Sprint account.” You will also have to manually opt-in for the offer manually on Sprint’s website starting November 17th.

To give you some details about Sprint’s Unlimited Freedom plan, it will run you $60 per month for a single line. The plan includes unlimited 1080p HD video streaming. Much like other carriers, there are some limitations, such as soft data cap for how much data you can use every month. In Sprint’s case, you’re looking at 23GB per month before Sprint starts to deprioritize you data.
