Netflix sees a 10 percent drop in viewership due to eclipse

Yesterday’s eclipse attracted incredible amount of attention that even Netflix made a comment about it on Twitter. The company announced on Twitter that they saw a 10 percent drop in viewership yesterday due to the eclipse.

The tweets were of course dramatized and Netflix doing it on purpose. The company was very emotional, jealous, and felt abandoned because of the eclipse.

It’s not somewhat surprising that a natural event took attention away from Netflix. But it’s good to see Netflix seeing some humor in it.
