Carmelo Anthony believe he’s the only player in history ‘criticized for what he’s great at’

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Carmelo Anthony believes that his mid-range offensive game is a “lost art” in basketball era that’s highly dominated by three-point shooting and pick-and-roll plays.

On Thursday, Tim Keown of ESPN.com published Anthony’s comments on the matter. Anthony believes that cirques of his style of play give him a unique position in the game of basketball.

“To be honest with you, I think I might be the only person in the history of the NBA who gets criticized for what he’s great at,” Anthony said with a laugh. “That’s OK. I’d rather be criticized for something I’m great at.”
