Pixel Buds are Google’s answer to compete with AirPods

Google at its hardware event announced that it will be releasing truly wireless earbuds this fall called the Pixel Buds. The truly wireless earbuds will feature gesture controls, Google’s own Assistant, and will last for five hours on a single charge.

The earbuds’ charging case will recharge them multiple times with its 620mAh battery. In total, it should provide up to 24 hours of listening time and charging through the USB-C port. Any phone that’s running Android Marshmallow or higher will pair with the earbuds easily with a feature called “Fast Pair.”

Much like the Pixel phones, the earbuds will come in three color options: blue, white, and black. Price point for the earbuds is $159. If you take a look at Google’s online store, blue and black versions will ship in six to seven weeks but the white is listed as “out of stock.”
