Since the initial release of the Super NES Classic in late September, it hasn’t been the easiest to find. This is the miniature version of the 1990s Nintendo console that comes with 21 games. If you were hoping to preorder when it was releases, the preorders were only available to customers who woke up at the early morning hours to place a preorder. Nintendo even promised to manufacture “significantly more” stock, the $79.99 Super NES Classic has been selling like hot cakes.
There is still some hope this Black Friday shopping season for those of you that was the Super NES Classic. If you’re in the vicinity of a Best Buy or can get to one, you have an increased chance of getting the Super NES Classic. Best Buy announced that it has limited quantities of the SNES Classic, and they will go on sale at 9AM in more than thousand Best Buy locations nationwide.
“The Super NES Classic Edition will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis,” Best Buy says. “Our stores will offer a ticketing process before we open for customers waiting in line – the same ticketing process we’ll offer for the Saturday doorbuster deals. We will only pass out as many tickets as we have systems available, with a limit of one per customer. Super NES Classic Edition will not be available on BestBuy.com.”
You can plug the Super NES Classic into your HDTV, and includes games like Super Mario World and Super Mario Cart. If you’re a fan of the console and want to have a chance to get your hands on it, might want to head over the Best Buy in the morning as early as possible. The stock will evaporate pretty quickly.
