Samsung is expected to release a generation of Galaxy A-series phones in January, as reported by Android Police. Lookin at a user manual that was uploaded to Samsung’s website, it gives us some minor details as to what will be coming in next year’s Galaxy A-series phones.

Now let us dive into some of the details. The biggest highlight feature of the phones will be the dual front-facing cameras, and come with Live Focus that will be available for selfies. We don’t currently have any information on how many megapixels will be for those cameras. The devices will also have a 18:9 aspect ratio with slim bezels, much like many other phones releases this year. In addition, the read fingerprint sensor will be located below the rear camera for easier access.

The names of the devices are also rumored to change to A8 and A8 Plus. According to the manual, the phones will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat right out of the box and will have support for both Samsung Pay and Bixby. We can expect to see some other standard essentials like a USB-C charger port and an earphone jack. As we get close to the announcement date, we will have more details.
