Razor brings neon green Hammerhead USB-C earbuds to the market

Despite many Android phones (looking at you Pixel 2) making the switch to USB-C connectors, there aren’t that many options for USB-C earbuds. Many companies are starting to leave the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack behind, but are still lacking behind in offering good headphone replacements.

Fortunately though, Razer has taken it upon themselves to bring a brand new pair of USB-C buds to the market. Introducing the Razer Hammerhead USB-C earbuds. These earbuds are made to match the Razer Phone, but can be used with any other device that has a USB-C jack.

These earbuds are fairly solid, to say the least. They are fitted with 10-mm drivers and acoustic chambers that deliver “deep, distortion-free bass,” according to Razer. The earbuds include an in-line remote and mic along a flat cable that should help reduce the tangles you could potentially run into. In addition, they’re also magnetic (like Apple’s BeatsX), so they will snap together when it in use.

Right now, color is the only drawback for the Hammerhead earbuds. The only color option you have to to get the garish neon green and black color. The reason why they’re this color is so they can fit with Razer’s aesthetic favorited by gamers and others. The company’s color scheme tradition continues into these earbuds.

You can pick up the Razer Hammerhead earbuds for a cool $79.99, and you will also get a custom carry case with the earbuds. Razer has previously released Bluetooth and Lightning versions earlier this year, and the USB-C earbuds will be joining that collection. Whether you want a Bluetooth, Lightning, or USB-C version, you have three options to choose from.
