Democrats from House Intelligence Committee to release 3,000 Russian-bought Facebook ads

You’re about to see some of the Russian-connected Facebook ads that were bought during the 2016 presidential election. According to Wall Street Journal sources, they learned that Democrats from the House Intelligence Committee are planning to release of 3,000 Russian-bought ads coming as early as this week. Lead Democrat in the Commitee, Rep. Adam Schiff, confirmed the plans to release the ads and added that the redacted ads should be available “within a matter of days.”

In the release, you’ll be able to see both the ad images, who were targeted, how much it cost and how many people saw the ads. There’s also a chance that the release could be delayed due to the debate with Facebook over how much user information (ex. Likes and shares) should be redacted, according to sources.

Frankly speaking, there’s no denying that there were direct political motivations behind what happened and the release of these ads by Democrats. Republicans originally purposefully cut the investigation short into Russian involvement and the release of these ads would bring the attention right back to everything.
