AMD offers ‘Combat Crate Bundles’ to help gamers build their PCs

We all know that because of Bitcoin mining, the prices of graphics card for gaming have become incredibly expensive. For those of you that are AMD fans or have been looking at AMD for some time now, they have a solution for you.

AMD is offering something called the Combat Crate Bundle. It gives you the main components you need to build a decent PC for your gaming pleasures. For $550, you get a Ryzen 5 1600 with cooler, MSI B530 Tomahawk motherboard and MSI Radeon RX 580 Armor OC graphics card. Mind you, this is a bit cheaper than sum of the parts at retail pricing, considering that the price of the card alone is over-inflated.

If you’ll notice, it doesn’t include a few things, such as RAM, case with power supply, and storage. All of those you will have to get on your own, but you should still be able o build yourself a pretty powerful gaming rig for well under $1,000. It’s worth noting that the Radeon RX 580 performs just as good as NVIDIA‘s GeForce GTC 1060, but comes with two HDMI ports.

AMD isn’t stopping with the Ryzen 1600 because it plans to offer a second bundle soon that will come with the Ryzen 5 1700 processor. Be on the lookout.
