Both PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Fornite continue to go at it in terms of fighting for the battle royal crown. In the next stage of PUBG‘s plan, the developer plans to start testing a smaller map option called Codename: Savage which measures at 4×4 Km. It’s just a quarter of the size of Erangel and Miramar, the two maps that are currently included in PUBG. Due to the smaller size, it should bring even more tension to the game’s fast-paced action.
While the developers are going to bring the map to everyone, the first round of testing will be closed, and will be limited to only a few players when it appears between April 2nd at 10 PM ET and April 5th at 7 AM ET. If you want to get access to it, you should keep an eye on the game’s social media channels for keys, so make sure to tune in for more information on this on Monday.
Until then, check out a video for some of the footage of the new map. You can also check out the first round of Event Mode offerings, which follows up on the teaser image of a Flare Gun by adding a few of them in the game for players to obtain. Just remember that the mode will go away on April 1st at 10 PM ET.
