Under the Hood Comparison: Galaxy S9 vs. its competition

Yesterday, Samsung took to the stage to introduce the world to the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. While the devices may be in the same shape at the S8, under the hood, however, it’s a completely different story. Mind you, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ are not an “S” upgrade that Apple does every other year when they use the same appearance with internal upgrades.

Now that we have details about the devices, we’re going to do a comparison with other smartphones like the iPhone 8 and Pixel 2. We’ve stacked up the Galaxy S9 against its closest competitors so you can get a better idea of what to go with. We’re not going to plant any ideas in your decision, rather give you a comparison so you can make the decision yourself. On a different note, we will be releasing an in-depth review of the S9 next month, so be on the look out for that.
