Samsung has resumed releases of Android O update for Galaxy S8

Previously, Android Oreo rollout was paused by Samsung due to a reboot glitch, and now it appears that the company has resumed the rollout in Europe.

Reported by SamMobile, the Android Oreo version now being pushed out by Samsung is all together a different firmware version. Samsung has resumed rollout in Germany and shouldn’t take long before the update starts appearing in other parts of the world.

The rollout resumes just in time for Samsung to reveal the Galaxy S9 at Mobile World Congress in Spain this week.

For those of you that are curious about the firmware versions or if you’ve gotten it already, look out for firmware versions G950FXXU1CRB7 or G955XXU1CRB7 on your S8 or S8+.
