Snapchat and NBC are gearing up their partnership on Winter Olympics

If you’re an avid Snapchat user (even if you’re not) and looking forward to 2018 Winter Olympics, there’s a few extra reasons for you to use the app more often. It seems that Snapchat and NBC are teaming up to put the 2018 Winter Olympics right in your fingertips.

Starting February 10th, you will be able to watch Winter Olympic Games live right in Snapchat’s Discover tab. As an added bonus, there will also be daily highlights, should you miss the events happening live.

“Snapchatters can expect one pivotal moment from NBC’s primetime broadcast to be live in Snapchat each day, and can sign up for notifications” in the app, the company says. In addition, there are two produced shows for Discovery as well, with one show about snowboarders live already, and another show about Team USA athletes that will run starting tomorrow through February 25th. Our Stories feed will also receive some love with curated stories feed from folks in Olympic Village.

If you weren’t able to make the trip, don’t worry, Snapchat has you covered with new stickers and lenses. NBC Sports will provide real-time leaderboards, event schedules and news coverage of all the Games via Context Cards. If you want to follow a specific group of athletes or even just one athlete, you’ll have that capability to do so as well.
