AT&T announced today that its online streaming service DirecTV Now has passed the 1 million subscriber mark. The service launched earlier this year and picked up 200,000 subscribers in its first month, and has continued to see growth. The service right now is on pace to catch the industry leader Sling TV, which has 1.7 million subscribers, according to Bloomberg.

While the company has seen good growth, it will miss its self-imposed deadline to release its cloud DVR and live TV pausing additions, both of which were scheduled to be available before the end of 2017. David Christopher, president of AT&T’s Entertain Group said said that “We’re thrilled so many customers have come to love DirecTV Now and can’t wait to bring them a host of new features in 2018.”

Along with the cloud DVR and live TV pausing features, they plan to add 4K HDR support, downloadable content, and individual profiles to DirecTV Now next year.
