New photos show Nokia Lumia 1520 compared with the Xperia Z

If the recent press release image leak of the Nokia Lumia 1520 wasn’t enough for you, then here’s another treat for you.  According to new images posted by The Verge, we see the Lumia 1520 phablet in day time pictures, instead of just renders.

In the photos, we not only see actual pictures of the supposed Lumia 1520 phablet, but we also see the person comparing it to the Sony Xperia Z.  As you can see from the photos, the 1520 is quite larger than the Xperia Z.  The Windows Phone powered phablet is something Nokia is looking to release in order to give competition to its biggest rival, the Samsung Note series.  The Korean giant has seen nothing but success with the Note phablet, and Nokia wants to take a slice of it away from Samsung.

The upcoming Nokia 1520 will feature a 6 inch size screen, 1080 x 1920 FHD resolution, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, microSD card slot and the Windows Phone 8 GDR3 update.

Are you looking forward to the Nokia Lumia 1520?
